Easter Monday

The Easter Pageant was great!! We got to see it 6 times and one of our investigators is really pumped for lessons, more so than he was before. I just think it made everyone remember Christ, and what could be better?! Um maybe if it made them want to get baptized and to stay active and enduring to the end for all time and eternity-IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR. Yeah.....
It's nice when people at least come to church for Easter. We had like eight investigators there, it was the best for us! We brought a homeless man that we picked up at Fry's yesterday. He's the sweetest homeless man I've ever met. Not that I personally know that many homeless men, but this one I can tell is probably the most extraordinary one out there. He bought us water… 10 gallons of it. HE's CRAY. But we're best friends now. Since yesterday,no it was Saturday, that we met him and we decided that he's going to let us teach him the lessons from the beginning and teach them all the way up until he is baptized, he has found a job and somewhere to live. I love blessings! Really super awesome member from the ward found him church clothes to wear and came and picked him up and brought him to church yesterday, and we got together and he stay for the whole time and look absolutely loved it :D We are going to be friends forever. Because after our missions Sister Smith, me, and him are all going to Italy together. He's funny. Except for he made me sing imagine dragons radioactive and that really turned me off. Sometimes I feel really worldly, I had a little girl explain to me the whole plot and storyline of Frozen yesterday so I could feel like I knew it and what was going on without me, Dad said there was another Captain America movie! WHAT HE HECK, QUIERO!!

So this was probably the best Easter ever. I went to 3 sacrament meetings! One was at an old folk's home. Man oh man, I can't tell you how heart breaking and heart warming it was. Bishop had us sing them I believe in Christ, and I cried LIKE A LITTLE GIRL. and then got to hold this one man's hand who only had enough strength to hold mine back for a little while. Never in my mission have I wanted to represent Jesus Christ better and felt so inadequate. He could love them so much better than me, but I tried and it was a blessing to be there. I thought, there's no other boy who's hand I'll hold that could be more special!! Then after dinner, with Sister Red and her family, who made me deviled eggs and tater salad! We were sharing our message and our testimonies of the Atonement. I actually talked about the care center experience earlier that day and started crying again, and this little boy who's probably 6,  had become my new best friend during dinner. We were messing around the whole time and he drew me a picture and talked to me the whole time. He got right up and sat down next to me real close and took my hand and held it for a few minutes, too. THE FEELS. it was really sweet. I don't get to hold boys' hands on the mish, unless they're that sweet. Anyway, it was a good Easter. I LOOOOOVED MY PACKAGE, thank youuuuu super mucho! My peeps are stale-ing as we speak and I take my minion everywhere. I love minions. And I painted an egg with those thingys. I would take a picture and show you but my companion ate it..

Let's see, what else happened this week.
Oh yeah, I took my companion to the doctor, she is doing better and has been getting some sleep. I just hope she gets better fast, because she really really loves working. It was crazy... it was her thing, but at the same time I think it was something for me, too.

We were going out to find some people and I felt super sick and didn't like what we were doing and felt like something was terribly wrong. So we stopped and prayed. No direct answer came so we decided to go see a family and we got there to see them pulling away in their car. The prayer made us miss them! So I had to stop and pray again and made it really specific and asked for all of the wrong choices to clear out of my head and to know where we needed to go. So when I finished all I could think was to take my companion home, because....she was sick and on lots of meds, lol (it's just hard to do that because there was so much work to do) but I felt right about it and so did Sister Smith. Anyway, we felt like we should at least fill up our water because we were out. We then met Dave next to the water machine :) I still struggle listening though!, when we went to meet him with our member to take him to church, he wasn't there!! Sister Smith was really hasty to just leave and so was the member and I didn't know why they were hustling about and worrying, I just sat down and wanted to wait a couple minutes. I knew the spirit was telling me to wait because I knew he wasn't ditching us on purpose and that he was going to come, but then the member left and Sister Smith was like ok, let's go so I was like-fine lol and as we were walking away, Dave called and said he was almost there! So The Lord made everything work out, and we got him dressed up and ready for church! It was so fun!!
But yeah, that was this weekend lol
OH. PROBABLY THE BEST PART OF THE WEEK! There was a ward Easter party and we got there and it was a blast. For some reason I didn't expect much and didn't think we'd have too many people to hang out with there and would be spending time trying to find people to help feel welcome, but there wasn't a spare moment to go find anyone, and we talked and joked around with so many people for the couple of hours until we had to go, and GET THIS. It was a breakfast and by the time we could get a break from talking to go get any food, all of the bacon was already GONE............. but because we're missionaries -cool missionaries, and people love me so kindly, a random man came up to me and told me of the secret hidden stash that the high priests had in huge kitchen. We were allowed to go and get some! So, naturally.....we got bacon. Jesus' name on my shirt scored me bacon that nobody else got.
I'm Bacon.
I like being a missionary. We get led to lots of places. A new friend of ours said we just always seem to show up at the right time, and it's always an accident lol it's fun
Anyway! That was really really really long. It's been a full week. And I didn't even tell you all of it.
